Two Weeks in Pomona

That title sounds like the name of an old Western movie.

Two months before Pomona my mate Riley and I went up there to check the place out…..

Riley is laughing because he thought that Willow (the Horse) would kill me.

Willow nearly did, but thankfully I had been thrown off before she really starting bucking on my 3rd day riding her.

The horse was great with my mates kids and as everyone was leaving, she just walked up to be a part of the crew.

Living in Pomona as a local, I headed to the ONLY silent theatre in the WORLD, the ENTIRE WORLD.  It was pretty cool, old black and white movie and a dude playing the organ.

My host, Sally, her animals were amazing.  Anywhere I setup to work, the two cats, the dog and the horse all just wanted to be near me…..

Pomona is a town established around 1900, because of the mountain (not Mt. Pomona, it is called Mt. Cooroora).  I climbed it when I first met Sally and I can’t live there without climbing it again….

Here is a heatmap of my two weeks exploring Pomona via bike, running, walking Sasha (dog) and playing tennis.
