Skiing in Europe

I know I have told people that I will ski in Europe one day and that day has come – earlier than I expected.

Tamatha and Bungles looked after me my first weekend in the UK and they were fantastic hosts!!!  They saw how nervous I was riding the tube and those freeky double decker buses so they thought I would be more comfortable on snow so they took me on my first European skiing trip…. in a shopping center in the London suburbs.

European skiing was close to what I expected… no trees, people don’t like to ski ‘off-piste’ and the apres’ skiing is fantastic.

I’ve just gotten back from a week in Wales with Dirty Dave and his crew.  The weather was gorgeous for a couple of days which required some golf.

The course was tough and the guys I got to play with were amazing – highest handicap (expect mine) was about 4 (lowest was +2).  I didn’t hold my own at all but didn’t make a complete idiot out of myself.
