Monday’s are good because everybody else is at work. However it is skool holidays and Dave the Sailor has arrived so I wasn’t sure how Monday was going to work out.
I shouldn’t have been worried.
Warren Miller got us pumped up last night so we were on the first chair at Remarks. After 3 runs Dave had his legs back so it was time for some man skiing – a 15min walk meant we were the first people for the day in the Alta Chutes (for those not in the know – they are steep, narrow and obviously not suited for snowboarders).
Here is Dave looking down on the skool holiday muppets.
This is me a little further down the run – I’m weightless (beat that Jenny Craig).
Midday came and went and we did contemplate a hike mission but Rob suggested we go play some golf. Why the hell not.
Dave’s 3rd into the Par 5, 11th.
Rob’s 3rd putt on the 12th.
Me waiting for Rob’s 4th putt on the par 3, 10th.
Waiting for Rob to putt out again…..
The boys told me to play this as it lies…. Contrary to comments above I am not weightless and the ice wasn’t thick enuf.
As a side note – putting is Rob’s strong point. However he was 1hr late this morning and deserves the abuse.
