Terrigal
After fear of mid 40’s temps my trip to Terrigal has been pretty much rained out. First couple of days were surf and golf but since then it has rained every day. Given me a chance to catch up on some reading, work and catch up with my old friend Bundy. Here is one of my reading spots….. One arvo got to take Chris’ bike … Continue reading Terrigal

January is lookin’ like a tough one….
January is proving to be really tough…. First up John was here and we took the sled out for a run. This day really sucked!!!! Cole and G arrived a couple of days later and after a few days skiing we took the sled for a spin and it didn’t work out so well….. Yeah we got it stuck…. we walked out 5.5 miles because it was getting … Continue reading January is lookin’ like a tough one….

Thursday
I was affaid that yesterday and today might have been ‘fluff’ days this week but that hasn’t been the case. Yesterday was awesome and today I spent 7hrs paragliding. And when the wind was too strong we called it quits and I played 18 holes at Arrowtown. Here is a 14meg crappy video clip of Keith playing on this ridge this afternoon when it got too windy to fly off … Continue reading Thursday

Golf at Otatara (beautiful old golf club), Rob, Murray and I joined in the members comp. Then down to Bluff to pick up a jetboat and fush and chups (no oysters though – not happy about that). As a side note… if anyone has a soft spot for ‘not so good looking’ women, Invercargill is probably a place you should check out. Continue reading Wednesday
Tuesday
Monday was a ripper of a day. Forecast for a fine week is holding up so here is what I did today (Tuesday). Starting off with 18 holes at my favourite golf course, Jack’s Point, with Pete and Rob. Green fees today were just under USD$30. I just can’t put my finger on how much I like this course. The ‘meat bomber’ (tandem skydiving plane). … Continue reading Tuesday

Last day of man skiing
Richard the Pilot is leaving tomorrow so today the boys took me to some new stuff. As usual things start with a walk…. Then some scenic fotos… I can’t see the pin positions on the golf course for tomorrow (course is the peninsullar that juts out onto the lake) so I’m outta here. Me lining up Intimidator…. First run down here – … Continue reading Last day of man skiing

Shazza getting Sailor’d
Another addition to this post is in order – last night was the 6th big one in a row and the troops are all very quiet so far today. The snow hasn’t been that great the last couple of days and yesterday Dave the Sailor and I had a wee play on this rather large step-up. Dave the Sailor looking very stylish and me looking like a muppet…… August … Continue reading Shazza getting Sailor’d
Sherm and Shazza’s Photos
This post and the one below are going to keep growing while I work through all the stuff we got. I’m not sure when I’m going to get it all done since Richard arrives tomorrow and AJ has 2 weeks off. Owww – man skiing…. This is what town looked like when Shazza left for hospital…. This is what town looked like when he … Continue reading Sherm and Shazza’s Photos
