Last day of Cat Skiing

After a pretty lame day last year, cat skiing wasn’t a top priority. But, with 8 inches forecast,  some new terrain which is open and being the last weekend of the season Al and I thought we’d give it another shot.

AND IT WAS AWESOME!!!!

My faith in cat skiing is back.  Second run of the day was this bowl below – little bit of a cornice on top and the first three skiers LAUNCHED off the cornice and really ripped it up.  I still got in trouble for not turning enuf but the guides were fantastic.

Here is Al on the 3rd run of the day (2nd go on this face) – my tracks are the ones furtherest right.

There were a couple of knuckle draggers and while we waited for them we had time to pose on the cat.  Lots of teeth showing – I think we were enjoying ourselves.
