This year has been a tough one snow wise but being Colorado – if it isn’t snowing, it is sunny.
The snow up high, and on the steeper slopes is holding up pretty well. Hence the concept of – ‘Double Diamond Dave’.
There is nothing here that is too tough to ski BUT the slick conditions and the exposure kinda means you don’t want to fall.

I figured Double Diamond Dave got a pretty good deal on his season pass and it wouldn’t feel like a ski trip with me without hiking. First pic is above North America’s highest chairlift.
