December has been pretty crazy. The awesome spring that we had in New Zealand filled my days with golf, mountain biking and boating which didn’t help with all the chores I have at the end of a season.
On my way east I passed through California, Nevada, Arizona, Utah and finally made it to Colorado.
San Fran was fantastic as usual with Cole and Gabriella. Vegas was crazy – no surprises there.
When I finally got to Keystone, I had Moc and Steve waiting for me, plus all the Groupy Doris’s they had aquired during their 4 weeks at my place. So much for chilling out and giving my liver a break.
The only photo I can publish from Vegas……
Speaking of rides, I couldn’t wait to get the sled out when I got back. Thanks to Andy for fixing her up for me over the summer.
Here I am giving Moc some instructions on his first snowmobile ride…. it broke 5 minutes later. First diagnosis was for a $2,500 engine replacement…..
A week after I arrived, Little Spoon rocked up. I wasn’t sure when he was arriving, so I parked Black Betty out front and left him a key…. Colorado turned on the snow for him as well….
Little Spoon had a couple of tumbles on his first day…. I missed the fall on this first photo but he is somewhere in that snow cloud. That is Breckenridge in the background.
And there is another 2 feet forecast for the next 48hrs (yeah I’m wearing a blue jacket on cold days now)…..
