Call me Cliff

You guys know this is going to be a big post – this is day 2.

More cliffs to open things up.  Me showing lots of confidence going into the Montezuma Cliffs.  I won’t talk smack about how high this is – you’ll just have to come over and see it for yourself.

Little Spoon has been working his mojo on this cute little Texan chick who has just bought a condo in the building. I’m not sure what they get up to in the bunk room but…..  it musn’t be that great if you have to do it yourself mate….

Hahahaha – it might be rude to laugh at your own jokes but that is funny shit.  Here is Little Spoon about half a second before he decided to ‘sniff’ himself (I thought he snapped his head off on that landing – check out how far from the rock face he is).

April snow!!!!!  This might happen twice again in my lifetime (assuming I make it to 30yo).  This is the endless winter.

I was big noting myself a week ago that I haven’t fallen much this season…. a foot of pow brings out the best in me.  A little avalanche sluff in the foreground pushing me down – I don’t fall under normal circumstances I promise.

The last one here is the result of Little Spoon blowing himself.

This post is hopefully going to be about cliffs and hopefully my last for the season (ow – Wilson is arriving in a week and a bit so maybe the 2nd last post).

I had hoped to spend some time in the park BUT the snow has been far too good – I’m pretty sure we’ve beaten April’s average snowfalls and it is the 10th (expecting half a foot tonight).  So Little Spoon and I are playing in a bigger park.

A new run was discovered today on the front side of Keystone – the Montezuma Cliffs.

My attempt landing on the smaller cliff.

Even ‘The Pillows’ is skiable this year.

It has been dumping all afternoon and I’m not sure where to ski tomorrow (Vail is on the cards, so is the Basin and Keystone).  It is tough you know.
