Boners and Beavers

Last week Lisa Doris was on loan from the cripple and cancer kids of British Columbia.

The ‘special kids’ in Colorado (aka Little Spoon and me) were jumping for joy…..

(The Beaver tickling my nose)

By now I’ve filtered out all the prudes so I can be serious.  Yesterday was a 2 foot pow day (hence the boners) at Beaver Creek (aka The Beaver) – Lisa Doris, Little Spoon and I CHARGED!!!!  Today we are all a little sore – 19 inches at the Beaver will do that to you.

Lisa Doris now has an intimate relationship with the Beaver.
She is on their website – check out this same run on the official
Beaver Creek website – click here (pink helmet at 1min 10secs).

With this kind of terrain on offer peope have a tendency to ‘go down’.  Little Spoon didn’t get caught going down, but I can vouch that he does – ewwww.

Lisa Doris down at the Beaver.

Me down at the Basin (last time I went down was 3yrs ago – hahaha)

OK, that wasn’t very phunny so I’ll get onto some serious stuff.  Lisa Doris is a jack of all trades and brought some of her toys – one of which is a ski kite.  After checking with the local fire department, the local fat cross country skiing lady and a groundhog we were assured that Lake Dillon (5 mins from my place) was safe for Lisa Doris to teach ‘special kids’ to kite ski.

4 days later we got the hang of it.  Lisa Doris in action….

Yeah, she wanted us to do yoga and stuff.  No pics of Little Spoon and I doing yoga on here (that’s $29.95/month)

Lisa Doris laying it down.

Little Spoon practicing his parallel skiing – you can see the Keystone ski runs in the background.

I’m all out of sarcastic, not very funny jokes (I haven’t even bagged on homo-chariots in this post for a change) so I’m going to hand this one over to Mary Handcock – if you come to Colorado and sack up you’ll get to meet her.
