If ‘Little Spoon’ is a spoon in the western world…. what does that make him in the east? The only way to confirm or deny would be to ask his little Japanese neighbour girls what they think… and they giggle a lot whenever we’ve seen them. Nervous giggles….
Little Spoon has a great pad and this is the view from his window. Japanese girls live just out of shot to the left.
It is the land of the rising sun but I haven’t seen a whole lot of the sun which is perfect. First pic is what I didn’t see – 2nd pic is what I did and wanted to see.
There is a bit of snow here and that is why Andy San – aka Little Chop Stick likes it here.
He had a chance to show the place off.
The pow pow and I are old friends as well. We haven’t seen each other much in Colorado thus far this winter and it was good to see her again…..
You guys know I like to earn my turns…. Lots of people down here but not so many 20 minutes later – amazing the difference down here at 3,000 feet compared to 10,000.
We did it again – 4 times – but it takes 4 lifts to get back to the top…. and the 20 minute walk. One of the lifts.
Thanks to Little Spoon for being such an awesome host. He lives here but he can’t read Jappo…. makes for some interesting driving. “When you come to a fork in the road…. take it.”
Road ended rather abruptly…. I’d swap a Little Spoon and a Little Chop Stick for the other fork right about now.
And thanks to Luke from Norsk Custom Ski’s for making me up a set of planks, custom made just for this trip. I asked him to make a 220 pound, 6’2 fat bastard tip toe around deep pow like an 8 yo Chinese girl gymnast. Those planks let me tip toe around just nicely…. I hope 8yo girl Chinese gymnasts don’t drink as much whiskey or get as many faceshots as I did these last 3 weeks!!!!
