KEYSTONE, Colo. – Dec. 11, 2006 – A 20-year-old male from Oregon was pronounced dead at St. Anthony’s Hospital last night after a ski incident on an intermediate trail, Spring Dipper, at Keystone Resort. A call came into Keystone Ski Patrol at approximately 1:15p.m. and ski patrol responded immediately.
Ski patrol provided basic life support and transported the patient to a Flight For Life helicopter. He was then transported to the St. Anthony’s, where he was pronounced dead. The male skier was not wearing a helmet at the time of the incident.
