Yesterday I moved back into the Chateau Grindlay and I’m surprised how much I missed the place; the piano, the neighbours, the hottubs.
A few highlights for the summer in reverse order:
- My neighbour Adam didn’t die after his nose job, despite a week in the ICU.
- Some great exploring missions which will lead to some new ski runs (Montezuma Mile is on the cards).
- I spent a week in Louisiana looking at an oil/gas project. What a blast and what great folks, I think it would have been a good deal but it fell through.
- There were 2 Mandi’s and I texted them both thinking they were the other, I haven’t seen either Mandi since…. oops.
- My $150 Amazon bicycle got me up Keystone about 10 times.
- Marls was out here (see previous post)
- I swam with seals and sea lions with Haley in La Joya – probably the highlight of my summer.
- I spent about 4 hours swimming around in San Francisco Bay.
- Went hiking with Erin and she lost 12 toe nails – perhaps that is my community college mathematics at work or a demonstration of how much I know about the ladies.
I have photos from some things and I don’t have some photos from other things (neither Mandi wanted pics published). So I’m going going to throw down some photos.
