The change from spring to winter came pretty quick. Last Wednesday I went for a mountain bike and this Wednesday is my 6th day on the snow.
Last post for summer and it is a bit all over the place….
I got out to Vegas to catch up with Mush, Humi, Trev and Yukari. Expecting a quiet trip but things turned into the usual debauchery, even up there with my Reno trip. Picture Mush and I falling out of a cab at the MGM at 10am in the morning. Then an hour later being asked to leave the pool – haha.
These pics at my favourite Vegas bar,The Founders Room. I lost a bet to Mush a while back and since it was my shout, I got to choose the bar. It might not look it, but this is early in the night when we are still reasonably well behaved, I have no idea who the blonde is
I got a last sail on the lake before the Marina closed.
I played more golf this summer than expected (35 rounds) and my last round was with Al and Andy at Red Sky Ranch, I’m not the biggest fan of the course but this has to be the fanciest course I’ve played. A guy cleans and puts new spikes in your shoes while you have a beer after 9 holes. 250K joining fee probably warrants that though.
I got down to Colorado Springs for a weekend golfing Eric as well. Eric lined up a great course.
Then the snow started. I went for a ride but had to ride on a little snow.
I got a last climb in with Christina, I actually skied in the morning and then met at the trail head at midday which was pretty kewl.
And now we are skiing. Nov 6th and I’ve had 6 days on the snow thus far which it really doesn’t deserve but everyone else is excited so I’ve been out with Erin, Luke, Chris V, skinny Chris, Adam, Megan and even took Poly out one day (not the best idea). I hiked into Little Alaska but there really wasn’t anything to ski. It is OK, it is only November.
